CloudRowing Training and crew coordination

Privacy Policy

Privacy matters to rowers and to us.

CloudRowing is designed to keep the public website lightweight while the app handles account, training, and social features through Firebase and platform services. This page explains the basic privacy approach for the public website and the app ecosystem in plain English.

What we collect

The public website can be viewed without signing in. In the app, CloudRowing may process account details, profile handles, training data, session summaries, and social profile information that you choose to share. If you submit feedback, we process your message, CloudRowing user ID, app and operating-system version, device model, language, and any screenshots you attach. An email address is collected only when you voluntarily provide one and allow the developer to contact you.

How we use data

What we do not do

Sharing and storage

Data is stored and processed using the app backend and Firebase services that power CloudRowing. Public profile links only expose the name, handle, and profile photo information you have made public. Feedback reports and screenshots are kept separate from the public feature board. For feature requests, only the request text, status, developer update, votes, and public discussion are shown to signed-in users; contact details and device information are not published.

Your choices

You can manage your profile visibility, social connections, and account settings inside the app. If you want a privacy request handled, use the support contact provided in the app or the App Store listing.
